Authors writing in simplified Chinese should convert the language of their submissions accordingly. Authors are advised to consult the style sheet\u00a0of this journal when preparing their manuscripts for submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">This journal also welcomes book reviews and research notes. Book reviews comment on academic books published either in Taiwan or abroad. Research notes discuss specific topics or research methods. Book reviews and research notes should not exceed 3,000 words. This journal also accepts invited submissions. Each issue can accept at most one invited submission of book review or research notes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><strong>Submissions are welcomed at all times and will be peer-reviewed.<\/strong>\u00a0Authors must sign the &#8216;<em>Foreign Language Studies<\/em>\u00a0Contributor\u2019s Declaration Form&#8217; and indicate that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere. The manuscript should not contain any self-identifying references. Submitted papers are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Both reviewers and author(s) remain anonymous throughout the double-blind review process. Please note that the author will receive the review result within 6 months, and should return the revised version of the accepted\u00a0manuscript after proofreading.\u00a0All\u00a0accepted submissions should be formatted by the author(s) according to our style sheet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">Foreign Language Studies\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"EN-US\">reserves the right to decide in which issue an accepted manuscript will be published. Submitted papers might be published in the next issue if the review process is delayed. Authors should sign the\u00a0&#8216;Contributor\u2019s Declaration Form&#8217; to grant a non-exclusive free license to\u00a0<em>Foreign Language Studies<\/em>, and the soft copy\u00a0of their\u00a0published works will also be included in\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/reurl.cc\/737GW9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NCL Taiwan Periodical Literature<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airitilibrary.com\/Publication\/alPublicationJournal?PublicationID=18130755&amp;type=P001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Airiti Library<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hyread.com.tw\/hyreadnew\/search_detail_journal.jsp?sysid=00000059\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HyRead Journal<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0<em>Taiwan Academic Citation Index (TACI)<\/em>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/db1.udpweb.com.tw\/soc\/Directory.aspx?ID=98\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UDP Taiwan Journals Search<\/a><\/em>, and\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/lawdata.com.tw\/tw\/journal_list.aspx?no=1178\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YueDan Knowledge Base<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Authors will receive both a\u00a0hard and soft copy\u00a0of the issue containing their work.
