Abstract:

From materials selected, weekly discussions and even exam questions, students will be more invested in the course when they take a leading role in directing the focus of the class discussions and even having a choices when developing the exam.

Brief bio of the speaker Donna Worley:

I’ve been teaching full-time at NCHU for 11 years.  I teach writing classes and Oral Training classes for English majors as well as a Business English course for senior students.  Before my full-time job at NCHU , I taught at the university part-time as well as other universities including Tunghai University and Chung Shan Medical University. I also taught a business English course to bankers through a special extension course at NCHU. Before becoming a teacher, I was a businesswoman.
